At AR Furnishings you can order by paying half now & pay the balance when your items are in stock and ready for delivery. This offers more flexibility for our customers waiting for large items with longer lead times - giving you more freedom to shop and plan your spending.
You may pay in full if you wish to do so instead - this is only an option for those looking for more flexible spending terms.
How do I place an order using the 50% deposit method?
Please contact us directly providing the item name or product code that you would like, including variants such as quantities, colour, and any other specifications required. You can contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 0141 374 2789
Our team will then verify the total price for the item(s) and send you a custom invoice for half of the purchase. Although only half will be paid by you, the full order will be reserved and allocated by us - offering you that extra flexibility and peace of mind.
When do I pay the remaining balance?
When your order is ready to be shipped we will contact you to advise. This is when your remaining balance payment will be due. Please note that we cannot dispatch any goods until full payment has been made as per our T&C's. We cannot be held responsible for any late deliveries whereby a customer has paid their balance late as this would incur a delay for the delivery process. We will aim to provide you with suitable notice of at least 3-5 working days before your balance is due. Should you wish to delay this further we can hold the item in stock until you are ready to pay, after which we will dispatch the goods.
How do I make the remaining balance payment?
Once your order is ready to ship we will contact you to advise and will send you an invoice to pay and clear the balance.
What payment methods can be used for this service?
Please note that due to this being a custom service we accept all standard payment methods such as Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Google Pay, Apple Pay and other major card providers - however we exclude any finance or financial credit payments such as Klarna. Credit methods can not be used to place deposits due to the high associated fee costs with these services.
We will contact you immediately if we are unable to successfully transact any of your payments.
Will I be notified once payments are taken?
Yes you will be notified once you have successfully made each payment. This will be provided to you in the form of an automatic email confirmation and receipt. Please ensure to input your email address when checking out to receive this automatically. If you do not, you can contact us and this will be sent manually to you for reference.
In the case where a balance is still pending before delivery, we reserve the right to hold the delivery in our facility or our couriers facility until full payment is cleared. In the event that stock is held for over 14 working days without a customer response regarding when payment can be made we may begin to charge storage fees starting at £10 per day.
